Landlords love the ease of having the ability to screen tenants quickly and effectively online. Qualify prospective tenants faster than ever without jumping through hoops to thoroughly vet your applicants. Proper tenant screening is imperative when setting yourself up for a successful tenancy. A small time and cost commitment can save you thousands of dollars in unpaid rent, broken leases, damages and evictions.

How long does it take to set up an account?

It just takes a few minutes. Register here. You will be sent an authorization email with a link to complete your registration. You will be required to answer security questions in order to complete your account activation and verify your identity. Uploading your property tax form is optional.

Why do I have to answer security questions?

Correctly answering security questions verifies your identity. Credit reports contain sensitive information and can only be shared with rental professionals. For this reason we are required to verify your identity. Personal information is never stored or shared with prospective tenants.

What if I answer my security questions incorrectly?

The security questions are designed to have answers that only you will be able to quickly and accurately answer. You will have 5 minutes to respond to the questions. You have 3 chances to correctly respond. If you answer incorrectly 3 times your account will be locked for 72 hours.

Do you pull a credit report on landlords?

No, a credit report will not be pulled on landlords. However, the security questions are generated from Experian’s records so if you have a security freeze or hold on your account you will not be able to complete the authentication. Please place a temporary “freeze lift” to your credit file in order to proceed.

Who pays for the reports?

You have the option at the time of ordering to select the payment source. You can pay for the reports or pass the cost to the applicant.

How do I pass the cost on to the applicant?

You will be prompted to select the payment source at the time of ordering. If you would like to pay for the reports yourself, add your payment details to your profile in the top right corner of the screen.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

How long does it take to see the report results?

Reports will be available to view upon the tenant’s completion of security question validation and payment.

How do I view the reports?

You will receive an email notification when the reports are available to view. Simply log into your account and review completed reports under the REPORTS tab at the top of the screen. Reports are available to view online for 30 days.

Why can’t I see account numbers or social security numbers?

Due to the sensitive nature of credit reports, account numbers and details are omitted for security. Both landlord and tenant’s personal information is always protected.

Is using this system the same as accepting a rental application?

Our online system is for tenant screening only. Personal information is not provided so we always recommend obtaining a physical rental application from approved tenants. Rental applications provide important information above and beyond tenant screening.

Can I charge the applicant a rental application fee and ask them to pay for the reports?

Check your state laws for rental application fee limits and regulations.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are not available for reports that have been ordered regardless of completion status.
